Process simulators are fundamental tools for technicians and process engineers, as they enable the efficient and rigorous establishment of material and energy balances for processes. The objective of process simulation is to predict how a defined process would behave under a given set of operating conditions, and thus to determine the optimal conditions for the process under study.
